Our story

At Kryolan, we make make-up. But not like anybody else.
Because unlike everybody else, we actually make our make-up. As one of the first cosmetics brands in the world, we use our own formulas and recipes to manufacture our own products. We think of them. We create them. Formulate them and love them into existence. We’ve been doing this over 75 years. And we’re still doing it today.

There is only one real professional make-up maker. There is only one Kryolan.

We offer professional make-up to the industry
so you can accomplish your tasks effectively and create incredible works of art.

Arnold Langer's belief, "people first, then business", is still today's corporate philosophy at Kryolan. Special wishes of make-up artists were and are still top priority - and at least as important as the confidential handling and the personal conversation with customers and partners. "This individuality has made us big." And with this philosophy in mind, son Wolfram Langer and grandsons Sebastian and Dominik Langer, including their families, continue to run Kryolan. Steady roots are followed by modern visions for the future - with a view to cherishing the legacy of Arnold Langer.
